The discipleship approach focuses on nurturing children and accompanying them step by step throughout their human and spiritual growth journey. This is achieved through interactive weekly meetings that encourage participation, critical thinking, and self-expression. The program is based on the international Aflatoun curriculum for developing children’s life skills. It is a comprehensive methodology that focuses on developing creative and critical thinking skills, strengthening self-confidence and responsibility, instilling human values such as friendship, cooperation, respect, and saving, and helping children understand themselves and manage their emotions in a positive way. This curriculum is delivered alongside a spiritual curriculum based on stories from the Holy Bible.

Tabitha Ministry believes that a child’s development cannot be complete without supporting and walking alongside the family in their parenting and growth journey.

Tabitha places education at the heart of its mission, believing that knowledge is the key to real change and genuine growth for every child.

The ministry works to provide comprehensive medical care aimed at early detection of health issues and ensuring consistent and attentive follow-up.

Tabitha Ministry believes that a child’s healthy development depends on supporting the family and accompanying it throughout the journey of upbringing and growth. Therefore, the ministry walks hand in hand with families through awareness programs and personal visits that aim to build genuine relationships of support and communication. The ministry organizes regular awareness sessions for mothers covering educational and psychological topics such as: positive parenting methods and understanding children’s needs, stages of children’s psychological development, the five love languages for children, dealing with behavioral challenges and daily pressures, developing communication skills within the family, building emotional resilience for mothers, and strengthening spiritual values at home and the mother’s role in passing on faith. The ministry team also conducts regular home visits to closely follow up on family situations, provide emotional and psychological support, and assist in facing daily life challenges. This creates an atmosphere of trust and cooperation between families and the ministry team. Through this family-centered approach, Tabitha Ministry aims to build a safe home environment that embraces and supports the child throughout all stages of growth.
Tabitha Ministry places education at the core of its mission, believing that knowledge is the foundation for meaningful change and true growth in a child’s life. The ministry supports children in their educational journey through practical programs aimed at improving academic performance and developing intellectual and practical skills. Educational support includes providing school bags and stationery for every child at the beginning of the school year to encourage continuity in education, organizing remedial classes and reading sessions to improve academic achievement—particularly in core subjects such as Arabic, mathematics, and reading—using interactive teaching methods that promote a love of learning, creativity, and teamwork, and conducting individual follow-up with children to identify learning difficulties and address them in cooperation with families and tutors. Through this comprehensive educational support, Tabitha Ministry seeks to open new horizons for children and empower them to build a better future.
The ministry provides comprehensive medical care aimed at the early detection and careful follow-up of health issues by conducting regular medical examinations and tests to ensure children’s overall health, organizing vision screening campaigns to detect and treat eye problems early, providing medications and treatment for children in need, contributing to the costs of surgeries for cases requiring specialized medical intervention, and promoting health awareness for mothers and children on proper nutrition, personal hygiene, and disease prevention. Through this aspect, Tabitha Ministry seeks to achieve integrated care that protects the child’s body, mind, and spirit in a safe and loving environment.
Tabitha Ministry is committed to caring for the psychological and recreational needs of children, believing that joy is an essential part of healthy child development. Throughout the year, the ministry organizes special birthday celebrations and Children’s Day events to give children moments of happiness and a sense of value and belonging. These celebrations include organizing birthday parties that bring children together in an atmosphere of joy and participation, providing symbolic gifts and a special cake for each child on their birthday, and holding an annual Children’s Day celebration on November 20, featuring performances, games, and recreational activities that promote unity and love. Through these love-filled gatherings, Tabitha Ministry ensures that every child feels loved, accepted, and valued within the ministry and the community.
Tabitha Ministry works to develop children’s abilities and talents through skill-building groups that foster teamwork, creativity, and self-expression. These groups are based on interactive workshops that combine learning with fun and encourage hands-on discovery. Activities include coloring and drawing workshops that help children express emotions and ideas while developing aesthetic awareness, clay modeling and beadwork to strengthen fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, patience, and attention to detail, recycling activities that encourage creativity, environmental awareness, and the use of simple materials to create useful and beautiful items, and sand coloring and handicrafts that enhance focus, imagination, and artistic creativity. These activities are carried out in a supportive and joyful environment where children learn teamwork, respect others’ ideas, and share the joy of achievement. Through these groups, Tabitha Ministry aims to raise balanced, creative, and confident children who are able to express themselves and contribute positively to their communities.
